Before I begin, it behooves me to explain that I feel that
Dino Esposito is not merely a prolific author, not simply a guru, but someone that I
like to call a coding
*HERO*. In fact, I am not ashamed to say that
Dino Esposito is one of
*my* coding heroes, on the same level that I am
a coding hero to the
Igloo Coder. One of the only positive things to come out of
my visit to Chapters was the quick glance I had within the covers of the
2005 version of his classic
"Programming ASP.NET", the
only ASP.NET book you will ever need.
I was shocked to discover that it's not just Dino's book that has gone through a significant restructuring for 2005...

May I be the first person to say
*HOLY*
*CRAP~~!*
What in the world happened here? Gone is the pasty complexion, the "history professor" shirt, tie, and glasses. In its place stands a potential new sex symbol for our generation. A man who looks 10 years younger. A man who has seen the sun! A man who fearlessly wears open-collared shirts. Look at that relaxed, confident, almost
sass-filled smile. That soul patch goatee!! Dare I say we have the beginnings of...a new Italian heartthrob?? Is this not something that makes you squeal like a schoolgirl in a platonic and firmly heterosexual way? I would note that unlike the
recent controversy over Britney Spears, this seems to be devoid of copious airbrushing!
Does working on .NET 2.0 do this to everyone it touches?
