Yes, the men at
EDMUG are versatile. Inspired by
Donald's Belcham's lavish dinner recipes, I too am sharing my own culinary efforts - only these recipes are dedicated to turning you into
300 pounds of ripped muscle~!So, with that in mind, I should warn you that consuming this concoction may result in passers-by attempting to rip your clothes off in a state of frenzied lust. I've gotten used to it myself, but you might find that it sometimes makes crossing the street quite awkward.
Without further adieu:
"The Love Machine"
1 cup squeezed orange juice (I use Tropicana, but you can also use a juicer)
1/2 banana
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein (I use
Power Whey Isolate)
1/2 cup of mixed frozen berries
Optional: 1 tablespoon of
Udo's Oil (or comparative Omega-3 blend)
The instructions (be warned, this is pretty complicated. Don't be scared to ask for help!)
1. Starting with the orange juice, throw all of the ingredients into a blender.
2. Blend for 45 seconds or until a sufficient level of creaminess.
This makes you a thick shake (seriously, most times I have to spoon the remainder out). It tastes awesome, is quite healthy, and most importantly
it will give you massive pipes*. Note that because of the protein/carb balance, this is intended as a
post-workout shake, although depending on your activity and needs, you could have it at pretty much any time.
Nutritional total of this shake according to
fitday.com:
With the Udo's oil: 438 calories (34 g protein, 47 g carbs, 15 g fat) - Note: without overwhelming you with the technical details, Udo's/flaxseed is *awesome* for weight loss/getting in shape and is all "good" fat, so don't let it worry you.
Without the Udo's: 318 calories (34 g protein, 47 g carbs, 1 g fat) - still awesome and half of the calories of that
ridiculous Arby's sandwich!
Either way you drink it, you're well on your way to looking like this dude below!!
* with a proper training and eating regimen, of course
