One of the nice things about being married: being surprised by things about your significant other that you never knew prior to the wedding.  For example, I'm certain that Kyle Baley's wife was delighted when she found out he had a crush on the lead singer from Air Supply.  Similarly, I would bet that D'Arcy's wife was similarly overjoyed to discover that Mr. Lussier enjoys masquerading as a barely-dressed female night elf in World of Warcraft games!  

My discovery was somewhat less startling but even more spectacular, if that makes any sense: my wife is an amazing artist.  In the last several weeks, I have watched my wife create:

• a paper flipbook that morphs her face into her Mii (Wii avatar counterpart above)
• a full-fledged magazine about beauty and its perception in North American culture
• a plaster hand with a wedding ring in tribute to our marriage
• a clay mask of a laughing Native American woman
• cartoons of Super Goof
• a picture of Jack Bauer from 24

Now, I've pointed to the Jack Bauer image previously, but some of the other samples are also available on her own site, as well as some of her thoughts on its production.  Of course I urge you to check it out, but of course I warn that I'm heavily biased and *very* proud of her - she is very talented in so many areas.   If you're ever over at our place definitely ask to see some of the art - you won't regret it!  I'm sure this isn't *quite* as entertaining as watching D'Arcy type "Sure, if this is *really* John Bristowe, I'll dance for you" into the WoW chat rooms, but I bet it is very close!
