I Wish These People Updated More Than Once a Year

Those of you who know me fairly well are aware that I have a very large collection of Transformers.  By very large I do not mean "relatively sizable"; by very large I mean "quasi 40 year-old virgin".  Originally, I shared my office with the Transformers and all was harmonious.  However, marriage and Mrs. Loquacious' return to school had created a bit of a problem: there was no longer room for both Mrs. L and I to do our work.  There would be space at the other desk for her laptop, which would allow us to work together - but that would mean the Transformers would need to be placed elsewhere.

Either the Transformers needed to be moved, or Mrs. L needed to be moved - the classic impossible decision.

After realizing I probably couldn't keep Mrs. L in our storage room for very long before she would need food and water, I began packing up part of my glorious collection of nostalgia.  But before I started packing them away, I took some photographs for posterity:

Sad, tragic times indeed.  (And yes, for those wondering, that is a giraffe Transformer in the left box.  They made some crazy stuff in Japan.)
