OMG, I can't believe this! YOU of all people, after giving me grief for seemingly "caving" to Gentile and Conery, are just ROLLING OVER on this?!

Okay, let's compare these three events:

1) Sam Gentile comes on, says "Hey, what is all this here?" and then you *completely* fall over backwards to tell him how much you'd love to wash his car. And let's be clear here - Sam is definitely a cool guy and he actually has a pretty good sense of humor about things, but your obseqiousness was record setting!!

2) You get all tough with Conery and then the *MOMENT* he comes on with a comment about your post, you not only totally apologize to Conery for everything you said but even *change your post title* so that big bad Rob doesn't get "offended". Then you E-mail him a Valentine's note saying that "marriage vows are like speed limits - sometimes they are there for the breaking". WTF?!? That's your business but it's still weird.

3) Hammett and I have a respectful debate about levels of responsibility and accountability in the industry. You write a post that no doubt made him *cry his eyes out*. Given he'd be near suicidal after this, I offer him the *one thing* that can bring him back from the brink...

...my friendship.

I don't want to pat myself on the back too much here, but it looks like I'm pretty much *a saint* for doing this!

Besides, we all know the *moment* Hammett reads your post and contacts you, you will take it down, frantically apologize with a daily post on your blog about it for the next week and a half, culminating in a "Hammett - I'm really into 'ALT.NET' if you know what I mean: PLEASE CALL ME"

1) Funny how you forget to mention how *you* made piece with the original Mad Mexican target after he made those innuendos that he knew people that could send cease and disist orders. ;)

2)Rob Conery and I are BFF! You don't talk smack about Rob! Besides, I'm pretty sure I got my point accross to him and we'll see the ability to look locally for an app.config file before defaulting to the "context" config default in the next version of the framework. He's also renaming SubSonic to SubZero and using me dressed up like the dude from Mortal Kombat as the logo...hmm...my inner demons want tequila...

3)So I guess you missed that the second slam he made on his blog against the MVC crew was spurned by "someone calling his community effort out" or something like that...hmm...does calling him out = a respectful debate? I think SO!
