Victoria Code Camp is *THIS SATURDAY*! >>
Fox's "24" - A Heartfelt Plea
(
my wife
's Jack Bauer artistry at work...)
LISTEN TO ME.
WE ARE RUNNING *OUT* OF TIME!!!
I have a confession to make: I don't really watch TV. I haven't really watched TV in 7 years. 7 years!! That's quite a long time.
But there is one exception to my "No TV" rule, and it is that exception that led Mrs. L and I to get cable last January. That exception is called
"24"
.
For its season premiere, the first 2 episodes of 24 played last night and tonight the 3rd and 4th episodes aired. I have watched every episode of 24's 6 seasons, and I can tell you that this series of 4 episodes have been the best 4 opening episodes of the show's entire history. The writing on the show is the strongest it has *ever* been - all of the characters have depth, motivation, and the twists have been *insane*. I didn't know how they could top last year's season premiere, but they have...and in fact, it is *better*. I have seen things in the last two days that I never thought I would see on 24...things I never thought I would see on television,
period
.
Listen - I wouldn't do this without good reason, but if you think you can't get on board the show because you've missed the first 4 episodes, they have been leaked on the Internet - just do
a search or two for them
. Or buy them on ITunes! Whatever you have to do!! You *NEED* to watch this show. It is *that* good. Please, I am *begging* you, because I care about you -
find these first four episodes and watch them
. And *PLEASE* -
watch 24 next Monday night
. You will not regret it. Trust me, it's historical TV.

I was surprised that by the end of the fourth episode, no one from the Emmy academy came by and gave Kiefer Sutherland another award. It made me want to cry. Tough manly tears though

I would agree with you Justice. I haven't watched an episode since the show first started....mainly because at the time I didn't want to get hooked on a new show.
I watched the season opener and also couldn't believe what they were doing. I was hooked in the first few minutes of the show....all I was doing was surfing! And got pulled in...{damn that kiefer!}

Hey, that fourth ep was a killer, wasn't it? I didn't see that ending coming.
Of course you realize, this means war.
