The Tetris story: can it be *your* story? >>
Some *other* pinnacles of awesomeness
This was the most apt image I could find for this post
It seems that the trend of Zoolander-esque software developers continues, with the long-awaited entry of
Terry Thibodeau
to the blogging world after massive public demand and some scattered rioting in Calgary. Look out
Jeff Perrin
, there is another contender for the Calgarian
"Potential Friend of Justice Gray" award for 2007
! I can't give a shout out to Terry without also giving a long overdue mention of my Edmonton based co-worker in spirit,
Jonas Avellana
. Both of these guys are definitely worth checking out if you don't already have them in your blogroll!
There are no doubt those of you who are reluctant to stray outside of the safe and sexy confines of Gray's Matter. For you, I have listed the key differences between this blog and the blogs of Terry and Jonas:
Terry and Jonas are several times funnier
Terry and Jonas have about 100 times the technical content of this blog (in fact, Terry's 4 blog posts thus far have pretty much tied Gray's Matter in terms of technical output, and he's only been at it a week or two!)
Jonas' blog has approximately 1
billion million
(that's the computer science term for "much") more references to stars in the adult film industry. If you ever came here and thought, "
This blog is good, but there aren't enough references to hard-core movies in conjunction with software dev
" then I can definitely assure you that Jonas' blog is for you.
Now that I've shared these with you, are there any Albertan software developers I'm missing on my blog roll to the side that you feel deserve a mention?
Update
: I am completely retarded. That in itself is not the update.
This is the update:
I'm not sure how I could have forgotten to mention the *insanely* talented
Christians Izquierdo
. I actually had the pleasure of working with Chris several years ago, not that he would admit it in a public forum! He definitely has great insights; I hope he finds the time to continue posting or at least present at an
EDMUG
meeting sometime! Don't listen to his propaganda about slaughtering me at foosball either; it's all just vicious lies! Vicious lies I tell you!!! *sob*

Funnier than Mr. Gray!?!?! I think not, my good man. The mere fact that you have the "Rockin' Star Wars" poster catapults you into stardom. Where the hell do you find these things!!??!
That is classic.
